Thank you for your feedback.
We rely on ad revenue, including revenue from videos, to keep producing journalism. This is the reason we don’t have a feature to turn off autoplay video on the web.
However, if you join HuffPost Plus as a paid member, you will get a mostly ad-free experience on our mobile apps (available for Android and iOS) while continuing to support our journalism. Even if you are not a member, you can avoid seeing autoplay video by using the HuffPost app. Please visit this link to sign up: https://www.huffpost.com/subscribe
On the web, you can stop any video from playing by pressing the pause button at the bottom left corner, and can turn off sound via your device settings.

Dear Huffington Post please read the last complaint again and try to reform a logical answer. The problem is not with ads. The problem is that you're popups take over and it becomes impossible to exit them and to read your article. I deal with this in a similar fashion as the person who brought up the original complaint. When I can't close the pop-up and return to the article after three or four tries I simply navigate away from your site. If this continues I won't be coming back to your site which would be a shame in times like these.
